Making Baby Wilkerson

First I want to thank you for taking the time to hear the story of two people very special to me. Behind closed doors the past two years my Sister and Brother in Law have been trying to start the family they have always dreamed of and it has not been an easy road to say the least. The struggles they have faced in the first two years of their marriage and the life they are building together are a testament to their faith and their love for each other. I could not be more proud. They have prayed and advocated for themselves every step of the way with various doctors. They have now undergone multiple evaluations and they were given the news that their only option for starting a family is going to be through IVF. The average cost of one IVF cycle in Virginia is 24,000. This does not include the time needed to be taken off of work to optimize implantation success nor additional medications and monitoring needed not covered by insurance for contributing medical conditions that make IVF a necessity.

Hope and Cory are wonderful siblings and friends who pour into those around them daily. Most people in the first two weeks of dating are trying to figure out the other persons favorite color or how they take their coffee, not these two. They were figuring out if the other persons ideal baby name is compatible with the others. They knew right away they had found their partner in life and they started dreaming together. It was not a maybe someday for them ,it was an always. It was we’re growing together and working to make that our reality. I am starting this go fund me to help ease some of the financial burden if possible and to help make their dream an attainable reality.
