#Making Baby Andersen an IVF Fundraiser

Hello, not sure how to start this, so I will just jump right in.

We are Marnie and Ryan, and we’d like to have a baby.

In December 2024, Ryan and I received a positive pregnancy test. We had been hopeful for months that this would happen, and due to my previous ectopic pregnancy, we were able to start monitoring the pregnancy right away.

That week was one of the hardest weeks. My levels didn’t rise enough, and the ultrasound couldn’t find the baby. All signs pointed to a second ectopic pregnancy, which led to a second surgery, resulting in my last remaining fallopian tube being removed.

Our options drastically changed after learning about our baby. We no longer are able to conceive naturally; our only option to have a baby is IVF.

IVF comes at a very hefty price and all upfront. Honestly, looking at everything involved is quite overwhelming. Going from what comes naturally to planning, timed, and medical calendars is quite a shift in mindset. We’ve really had to lean on each other and our village of family and friends. We’ve been encouraged by those family and friends to reach out.

Ryan and I would be honored and humbled to receive any kind of donation to our dream of having a baby. If you can’t donate, then sharing our story would not only get our story and cause out but also bring more awareness to pregnancy loss and how families grow in different ways. Thank you so very much.
