It Takes a Village  has brought together over 500 volunteers located in the SF Bay Area  to supply personal protective equipment (PPE) for healthcare workers.

It Takes A Village commits to supporting the medically underserved.  99% of our donations have been donated to Safety Net Hospitals and Federally Qualified  and Community Health Centers to over 109 different recipients

We need your help to fund this effort.   100% of all funds go directly towards purchasing materials for donation.  We have zero overhead.

-purchasing FABRIC, elastic, cardboard boxes and plastic bags if we cannot locate donations

Now is not a time to feel helpless – there is so much we can do.  Berkeley based clothing company Bryn Walker  has partnered with It Takes a Village ,  to help fund the fabric for our first 20,000 masks,  Coca Cola has provided PETG for 6,000 shields, LTA Research has provided kits for 21,000 face shields. 

Donations for It Takes A Village are tax-deductible through our fiscal sponsor, Oakland-based TMC COMMUNITY CAPITAL, a 501c3, EIN:82-5204018. TMC Community Capital is a non-profit online micro lender empowering low income women entrepreneurs.  Donations qualify for matching donations.
