Hi y’all, I have an important request to ask everyone to consider. Some of you may know that in February of this year I was hospitalized and became septic while admitted, paralyzed for four days, any light exposure would radiate pain everywhere, and I lost cognitive function briefly. It was terrifying and I have not been the same ever since. I’ve been battling stage four uterine cancer since 2013 with multiple recurrences. As of lately, my health took a very hard hit and I am struggling to care for myself. The help provided here is not helping me enough. I have an opportunity to receive the care that is very urgently needed, if I can travel out of state to get there.

During my last infusion treatment, I had an incident where the needle was slightly dislodged causing the chemo to go directly into my skin rather than through the port. The chemical exposure increased my light sensitivity and has become problematic for me. I was already needing to keep in dimly lit spaces, but this exposure amplified the intensity resulting in not being able to drive or withstand light of any kind for very long or else a full body migraine comes on. Due to this drastic change in quality of life, it is so important that I summer away out of bright and very hot AZ to KS, where my long-time close friends and power of attorney can see that I get the full time care I am desperate for. These funds would help my POA to fly out asap and help us drive back to KS.

Improving my environment during the summer heat will help me return to treatments safely because my physical health will be able to sustain it, as it cannot and will not sustain it presently. Your kindness will cover one (1) one-way ticket from ICT—PHX, gas to travel back with Kylo Ren and belongings, and food for the trip. Thank you for thinking of me and helping in any way possible.
