Making a difference for the Tackett family.

Galatians 6:12 "Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ."

Hello family and friends,

I have started this go fund me to benefit a deserving family who needs our help. Matt and Matraca Tackett, and their three boys. Matraca had a sudden and unexpected health emergency that was quite serious and she is currently in the hospital. She has had a few procedures already, and has an upcoming surgery. She has a long road to recovery and will be off work for quite a while. Matt has also had to take some time off to take care of his family. We all know how expensive it is to run a household and the loss of a portion of income, so unexpectedly, would be challenging for anyone. The Tacketts are hard working people who have supported their local communities in many ways including volunteering with local youth sports organizations, community events, and have also quietly donated and supported others wanting no recognition or acknowledgment. I am asking our community to now offer them support.

Most of us know the story of David and Goliath. When David came down to the battlefield he was asked why he was there, as he was not a soldier. And in 1st Samuel 17:29 David replies, "Is there not a cause?!" He knew he could make a difference with Gods help. He was there for the cause, even if he was small, even if he could only help a little, he knew the cause was important. And his obedience to God and willingness to help changed everything! Sometimes in life we face our own Goliath and need someone like David to rise up in faith and help. That's what I'm asking of you. To consider making a difference in this worthy family's life and help defeat their Goliath, through fund raising and prayer. They are a worthy cause!
