Help pay for my life-saving smile:)
Donation protected
Those of you that already know me (and to those of you that don't - I hope to one day meet each and every person who contributes and thank you personally), you know what a beautiful person I can be inside and out. I give generously to friends and charities when I am able to. BUT, you all know there has always been one thing missing from my face - my smile. I have been loathe to discuss it out of embarassment, but my teeth have been a problem since they grew in. Due to a number of food allergies and poor nutrition as an infant, the enamel never formed fully on my teeth; add to this the crowding and my lack of ability to pay for orthodontic care, and it's basically been a ticking time bomb. I have been living in fear for YEARS of the day when an infection or break would be the one that would kill me (infections from teeth are very deadly for those of you who may not be aware, due to proximity to the brain and other important structures in the jaw and skull).
Well, at probably the worst possible financial time for me, this time bomb reached the end of it's fuse. I NEEDED dental work immediately to avoid infection, the loss of my lower jaw function, and YES as dramatic as it sounds even death. With the generous donations so far and a loan from a medical credit agency, I was able to make my appointment for August 12th. I LITERALLY couldn't wait any longer for fear of the repercussions that it could cause to my health. After this procedure (a complete success - thank you for all the crossed fingers and prayers), I could really use help with repaying the portion that I had to finance in order to cover the shortfall. The total cost for the surgery was about $5000 - a staggering sum. With interest through Care Credit (the financing company) I could be staring down a lifetime of debt.
I come to you asking for any donation you can spare - I will need 6 - 9 months in order to fully recover and function normally and it will be extremely difficult for me to earn enough money to cover these high interest payments while I am convalescing. I know I have a wonderful network of friends; a true family out there - all of you - and I know that you are all caring souls.
PLEASE help me repay the exorbitant sum to Care Credit. I will be eternally grateful and I will pay it forward a milllion times over throughout my life. If you know me - you KNOW this is true.
I am one of the last people to beg or ask for help so you know this situation is dire - PLEASE, please help if you can.
You have my very word that every cent raised will be going only to pay for the procedure and the repayment of the financing company Care Credit. With your help, you have given me a chance not only to survive but to once again thrive - and I won't let you down!
I thank you all in advance. There are no greater friends a girl could ever have. And once I've had a little time to heal, any contributor that wants a picture with me all gussied up and grinning from ear to ear is welcome to have one :)
