Makenzy is a 5 year old little girl diagnosed with a Wilms Tumor on her left kidney on December 16th. She was in the hospital for a week and had her first treatment of Chemotherapy on December 20th. Her prognosis is favorable and the tumor is expected to respond well to the chemo. She is scheduled to have 28 weeks of chemotherapy treatments and a surgery to remove her kidney. 

Her parents are staying as strong as they can and have been by Makenzy's side from the moment she was admitted. Makenzy's parents, Lucy and Travis, will soon have Makenzy's medical bills to pay, on top of unpaid time off work to be there with their daughter through this difficult time. 

Lucy and Travis have their friends and family working to help support them and be there for them. The last thing these two parents should have to worry about is how they are going to pay the bills. They should only have to worry about the treatment their little girl is receiving, and what the doctors are telling them.
