Makenna's Journey with Leukemia

Hi--We are fundraising for a very strong and brave 6-year-old little girl, Makenna Hawkins. On the morning of February 28th, Makenna woke her mom, Ali, complaining of being thirsty and not being able to breathe. Things escalated quickly and it became apparent that Makenna needed emergent care. Upon seeking medical care, Makenna was diagnosed with acute leukemia and was transferred to a hospital equipped to begin chemotherapy immediately.

Makenna is surrounded by a lot of love and support but she has quite a journey in front of her. She has started chemotherapy treatment that will last about 2.5 years. This will have a profound impact on Makenna's life as well as her parents' lives (Ali and Ryan). Please consider donating to this cause to help alleviate the financial burden that accompanies this type of treatment.
