Natedolt's Cancer Fund

I'm going to preface this by saying that I have no personal connection to Nate, that he and I aren't homies, and that I'm just like all of you -- someone from the Internet who heard about his story and was confusd, saddened, and fucking infuriated by it.

I'm asking you all to trust me, and know that the money you're about to give -- every single mother fucking dime of it -- is going to where it SHOULD have gone in the first place: to Nate, the person who needs it most.

If you're checking this out right now, you probably already know what happened to him. But if you don't, here's the "Thieves Are Fucking Terrible: For Dummies" version of it:

Nate has Cancer. Nate's "friend," Dusty, AKA ChopperGod, AKA Didn'tThinkYou'dMindIfITookTheMoneyIRaisedForYouAndLentItToMyBuddyAndUsedTheRestToFinishMyBornFreeBuild, AKA ScumOfTheFuckingEarth, put together a fundraiser for Nate. As a result of this fundraiser, a LOT of people put up a LOT of cash in good faith or what they thought was going to a good cause to help a stand-up dude.

Instead, Dusty "borrowed" a chunk of that cash without asking and apparently lent it to a mutual friend of he and Nate, and used the rest of it to finish his bike for Born Free (where he's apparently currently headed -- you can follow him on Instagram @mke_choppy_boy), where we hope he's going to be met with a lot of good vibes, positive energy, and love from some of our West Coast homies.

I'm not in California, so I can't say with certainty that the piece of shit responsible for this is going to get handled, but I really hope that out of the thousands of people who've seen Nate's story, there are at least one or two homies out there who are gonna make some moves and show the world that the chopper/custom motorcycle community doesn't just talk the talk, but that some of us walk the walk.

On the other hand, I think it's safe to say that "handling" the dude responsible for this bull shit isn't going to get Nate his money back. As someone who recently lost his father due to complications from cancer, I know first hand that, not only does it fucking suck, but it costs a lot to treat.

Allegedly, Dusty (Instagram: mke_choppy_boy), has said that he intends on "squaring up" with Nate and his family when he gets home. While that kind of bull shit is all fine and good, the fact is no one knows what's going to happen, and as far as that ass hole's character is concerned, I don't trust a word he and his bull shit crew say. But even if he does rectify the situation he knowingly created, it doesn't mean Nate deserved any of this, and it doesn't mean that he doesn't still need as much support as he can get.

And that's why we're here. Thousands of you have seen this story unfold on ChopCult, Instagram, and across the internet in the last few days. And if you haven't, have a look at this thread. It'll tell you pretty much everything you need to know:

Did it outrage you?

Did it hurt you?

Did it move you?

GOOD. You should be fucking angry. You should be disgusted. You should want shit to be made right. While our homies out West hopefully take care of things on the business end of the spectrum, I'm here to try and help make things right on the moral end of the spectrum.

I want this nightmare to be something beautiful, and I want the guy who should fucking win to come out on top for once. Let's make things right and square things away with Nate, if for no other reason than with hope that, should any of us ever need this kind of help, it is given to us freely.

God speed, brother. Kick cancer's ass.
