In Romania, according to statistics, 49% of children are exposed to the risk of poverty and social exclusion. Year after year, these children do not know the pure feeling of Christmas childhood as many of us do. For them, winter is cold, and a rich meal and many gifts represent a wish for the future.
This year, MakeIT! Educational aims to gather a community of "Santa Claus" who contribute towards offering "warm" gifts for at least 100 children from 3 villages from around Brașov county, Romania.
The packages will be standard, worth of 5-10 pounds, and they will include basic products (toiletries etc.), as well as clothes and shoes. All these will be beautifully packaged by our volunteers and they will be delivered on the Christmas occasion by the MakeIT team.
