Gracie Needs Surgery!

Gracie has been struggling the last few months with what had appeared to be a stubborn UTI so antibiotics were tried over and over to no avail.
It was discovered today that she has bladder stones that have begun blocking her urethra. Basically, she can't urinate and it is building up and up. She has two types of stones. One is more common and can most likely be dissolved with special food. The other is less common and this method doesn't work. Surgery will be the only option. We are trying the food to help alleviate some of the crystals but we are still facing surgery. Medication will not dissolve the stones. If she doesn't have the surgery, she'll need to be euthanized.

Gracie is 7 years young and should have many more years to enjoy life. We met at South LA Shelter 5 years ago and we have been together through thick and thin. She has always been there for me and I want to be there for her.

I have been struggling for the last year and I'm getting back on my feet...slowly but surely. I hate asking for help but I can't let pride get in the way here. Surgery is going to cost up to $2000. Bottom line is that I don't have it.

I left my world behind to jump into animal rescue and have been working very hard to help save as many lives as I could. Now I need to save my dog.
Please help me do that.
