HELP MAKEDA Dance and 'Steppaz' IT UP in BLACKPOOL

Hi, my name is Clayre and I'm a Kickboxing Instructor but more importantly I want to tell you about a 9-year old student of mine from Ghana called Makeda who now resides in the borough of Haringey which is one of the most deprived areas in London. Not only has she been practicising martial arts with TKBA Juniors for around 4 years but for the past year has been silently mastering another skill!!

Little did I know that Makeda was a secret hip, hop dancer and honing in her skills with the dance company Steppaz!! She attends classes twice a week and has competed in 3 competitions under the UDO (United Dance Organisation). In her most recent competition she achieved a 5th place in the Singles and her dance troupe came away with 1st place.

Steppaz Performing Arts Academy has been given an incredible opportunity to compete at the prestigious UDO Dance competition in Blackpool later this year! All dancers including Makeda have worked tirelessly to perfect their craft and now they have the chance to showcase their talent on an international stage.. but I need your help in getting Makeda to the destination.

PLEASE support me in raising £600-£1,000 to make this happen... ANY AMOUNT WILL HELP - this money will help to pay for Makeda's travel expenses, food, three nights accommodation and will give her the opportunity to dance on the big stage.

As a yellow belt student and member of our TKBA Juniors club we are so PROUD of Makeda and what she has accomplished to date in the dance arena and we are all about boosting confidence, supporting, growth, encouragement and we would love to see her flourish and excel... and dance in Blackpool.

THIS WILL BE A CHALLENGE as there is a DEADLINE of 20 June 2025 to raise funds so I DO hope you can help us to support Makeda on her DANCE DREAMS and goals...
