For those who do not know, I row for Grand Valley State University in Michigan. Recently I was selected to be a part of an elite squad who is made up of university student/athletes from across the nation. We will be competing in South Korea this summer, July 3-5 2015, and racing as representatives of the United States. The US team will be racing other university student/athletes from various countries. This international competition is called the World University Games (Universiade) and it is only held once every two years. 

I am very excited to be a part of a team who boasts some of the most talented athletes in the nation, but I cannot do it without help from you first. Each team member needs to raise enough money to last a month in Ann Arbor (where the training will take place), a round trip plane ticket to Gwangju, South Korea, and some money for room and board.
