Make What Moves You for Lebanon Performance
In light of the catastrophic explosion in Beirut, which came in addition to the pre-existing struggles from the pandemic, political unrest, economic crisis, and famine, we have a plan to help.
We want to gather donations for the Lebanese Red Cross in order for them to aid the people of Beirut.
We need YOUR HELP in making this a reality.
AUGUST 20th, 2020
My sister and I are organizing a live performance: to attend, donate at least $1 to this page to receive a link to the performance.
We are calling all creators in any way, shape, or form to create a show worthy of your attendance.
Please support us in this endeavor so we can all support Beirut together.
All main updates will be shared through an Instagram page: @MakeWhatMovesYou, so don’t forget to follow!
Carolina and Michelle Salomon Simon are two sisters from Mexico City who reside in the US. Their family emigrated from Lebanon a few generations back, but the culture has been passed down through generations. Carolina graduated from the Boston Conservatory with a BFA in contemporary dance performance and pedagogy and Michelle studies business administration and liberal arts at Babson College.
Many of their family and friends have close ties to Lebanon, and they want to do all they can to support their community. All funds raised through this go fund me page will go to the Lebanese Red Cross vía their donation website. The funds will be spent as the Red Cross sees fit.
Thank you for your help, and we hope you are staying safe during these wild times.
