Hi, I’m Jillian Torres, and I am trying to raise awareness about shark finning. When I learned about shark finning, it really stuck with me. Sharks aren’t just “scary animals,” they’re essential to keeping the ocean balanced. But millions are killed each year just for their fins, and the rest is often wasted.

That didn’t feel right to me. It showed me how important awareness is, because many people don’t realize the impact this has on marine life and the entire ecosystem.

I started this fundraiser because I want to help, even in a small way. By supporting shark conservation and spreading awareness, we can make a difference together.
