Make Their First Step in Education Their Best Step!

Join Putiyei and Deborah at the Galway Bay Marathon on October 4th.

Education has the power to transform lives—and for many children in rural Tanzania, that very first step into school is the start of a brighter future.

This October, our team will be taking on the Galway Bay Marathon to support The Olive Branch for Children’s Education Programs. Some of us will run 10km, some 21km, and Putiyei and Deborah will take on the full 42km marathon—all to give children their first real chance to learn, grow, and dream.

In the communities we serve, many children have never been able to attend school due to poverty, remoteness, or family circumstances.

Through our comprehensive education initiatives, we are breaking down barriers to learning: Our Montessori Kindergartens are giving young children the best possible foundation in life.

Our KICKIT Mobile Libraries, are reaching 9,000 students every week with the joy of reading.

Our Student sponsorships and learning materials, are ensuring children can stay in school and succeed.

With your support, we can make their first step in education their best step and open the door to a lifetime of opportunity.

Our goal is to raise €10,000, which will directly support our education initiatives:

Enabling children from vulnerable backgrounds to attend school providing books, uniforms, and essential resources expanding access to Montessori early childhood education and literacy programs.

Every kilometer we run is for the children who dream of walking into a classroom for the first time.
