Hello, thank you for checking out my campaign! My name is Abe and I am looking for some help to make a short film that I will be writing, directing, and producing.
I am an aspiring filmmaker currently living in Brooklyn, NY. Here is an unedited selfie of myself (sorry about the quality).
As you can see by my face I'm trustworthy, but less about me, let's get to why you're here.
Origin
This is the late, great stand up comedian Patrice O' Neal. He was known for his brutal honesty and hot takes.
Patrice was regularly featured on the radio show Opie & Anthony, the television show The Office, and was also on the Comedy Central Roast of Charlie Sheen. Apart from that, he is regarded as a stand-up comedy legend from fans and his comedian peers.

I was watching some of his standup comedy and he told this joke on his 2011 comedy special Elephant in the Room

I thought the joke was so funny because I struggle with spelling everyday words just like that. But then I thought his scenario with his mom would be a great scene. So I wrote a script based on that joke.

A kingpin interrogates a subordinate and gives him a unique challenge to make things right.
How The Funds Will Be Used
The funds will be used for all things production, helping to pay for:
-Cast
-Location
-Camera department
-Audio department
-Hair & Makeup
-Props and Catering
-Etc
Here is the location I plan to shoot in, a speakeasy in NYC from the Prohibition era.
I plan to shoot this short sometime in September.
