Hi my name is Travis Reyes, stepson to the Amazing EDDIE Rios. Those of you that know him, know actually why I say amazing Eddie Rios (superman). Eddie is one of the most stand up men i know, fighting the worst fight anyone can face. For the past three years Eddie has been battling Pancreatic Cancer and it has taken its turn for the worst. The crazy thing about Pancreatic Cancer is that in most cases by the time the cancer is found its almost already too late. Not allowing for much preparation and planning things just kinda of take over, all happening so quickly. During this time my mom, Eddies wife, has not left his side, spending whatever time left with him, making sure he is comfortable and loved. Unfortunately even when going through the worst of times the bills keep coming and everything else falls behind (Mortg, Elec, Ins). So in this sensitive situation I am asking for any help possible. The thought of having one less worry and being able to keep the focus and attention on Eddie. In life the most important thing we have is time, it's so precious and every moment matters! Eddie has so much to be remembered for, some would even say a legacy. I hear about all of the impact Eddie has had in the BMX community but I also have heard about the impact BMX has had on Eddie. Thank you for all the stories, videos, and memories we have been blessed with. I thank everyone in advance for any help given. I also want to thank everyone for all the love and support Eddie continues to receive. He knows how much he is loved and if he ever forgets for a minute, we are here to remind him! Till the end.
