My name is Derrick Morales, and I am the director of Instrumental Music at CHAMPS Charter High School for the Arts in Van Nuys, California.

I am looking to long-term raise funds to cover the costs of new instruments and other music equipment for the instrumental music program at CHAMPS.

We were so fortunate to have had two upright basses donated to us from Hungry For Music Charity this semester Fall 2025, however there are some fixes to both basses that need to be made in order for them to be performance ready for our music students to use. Please help us raise funds to cover the cost of purchasing electric pick ups for both basses, cleaning and restringing, a new set up by a professional luthier and some minor repairs.
