Hi everyone, my name is Rae. I'm reaching out with a heavy heart and a lot of hope.
My dog isn't just a pet—she's my best friend, my hiking buddy, and the soul who got me through some of the hardest parts of growing up. She's the kind of dog who greets every person with a tail wag and a quiet, gentle presence that makes you feel safe just being near her.
Recently, we found several cysts on her mammary glands that the vet fears could be cancerous. We're still waiting on further tests, but time matters—and treatment or surgery could be the difference between more years of tail wags and trail walks… or saying goodbye too soon.
From long walks in the woods to curling up beside me during every heartbreak and hard day, she’s been my constant. If you’ve ever loved a dog the way I love her, you’ll understand what this means.
Vet visits, diagnostics, and potential treatment are stacking up fast—costs are already reaching beyond what I can cover alone as a full-time student. Any help you can give, whether it’s $5, $50, or just sharing this link, would mean the world to me and give her a real chance to keep doing what she loves: being outside, exploring the world, and staying by my side where she belongs.
Thank you for reading and for caring—more than anything, thank you for helping me fight for my girl.
With love and gratitude,
Rae & her good, brave dog
