Hello hello!

My name is Daniel, and I need your help to make a life-long dream of mine come true. I've fantasized about starting my own cafe for over a decade now. That fantasy only grew more tantalizing during my first weekend Amtgard event, where access to good coffee or gluten free food was extremely limited, aside from what I brought for myself, and I know I'm not the only one whose experience at these events would be enriched by having a coffee and gluten free food vendor on site.

Spellbound Coffee is a mobile cafe, offering specialty coffee, carefully crafted tea blends, and a ~magical~, fully gluten free bakery menu. We plan to use the Midwest Amtgard May Event, May 21st thru 25th, as our opening weekend event. In order to make that happen on such a short timeline, however, we'll need outside help to raise enough money for our starting equipment.

A quick breakdown!

$500 will go toward ingredients for our house-made syrups and gluten-free baked goods

$500 will go toward a quality starter espresso machine

$200 will go toward a starter conical burr grinder

$150 covers a 5lb bulk bag of our beans of choice: Thunder Coffee's "Party Animal"

$150 covers basic supplies like compostable cups, lids, napkins, etc

And $500 will cover paying our driver for the event itself, gas, and any extra miscellaneous expenses

Which brings us to a total of: $2,000!

Every little bit helps, and even if you can only donate $2, those small contributions add up so much faster than you'd expect. If you want to help bring a little more magic to the Midwest, and get updates along the way, every single cent is deeply appreciated!

P.S. Anything donated beyond our stated startup funds will go toward the cost of a dedicated food truck.
