He Was My Miracle, After My Mom Was Taken From This World. I’m Holding Space for His Now.
Warren is my dad.
When I was nine years old, my mother was brutally taken from this world.
And Warren, her brother, stepped in.
Not because he had to.
But because he loved her that much.
And he loved me that much.
He raised me. Protected me. Gave up his comfort, his time, and everything else to make sure I had a chance.
He carried me through grief most people wouldn’t survive.
And he never asked for anything in return.
Warren’s not the loud type.
He keeps to himself. He doesn’t have a big circle.
His family is his world.
But even the strongest, most selfless men… need to know they’re not alone.
Right now, he’s in the ICU, fighting kidney failure and recovering from a heart attack.
He’s only 55.
Still full of life.
Still holding on.
But he’s tired.
And the weight he’s carried for so long is too much for one man now.
He’s still trying to push through.
Still worrying about bills.
Still carrying everyone, but he can’t keep going like this.
He needs to be carried now.
What This Will Support:
ICU medical care, kidney treatments, medications, and follow-ups
His bills while he’s unable to work
Food, gas, and basics for our household as we support him
And the peace to face what’s ahead with love, stability, and no fear
Warren is the kind of man who shows love through action.
He doesn’t ask for help.
He doesn’t know how to reach out.
But if we come together for him now, we can remind him what community looks like.
This is a chance to show him he’s not forgotten.
He’s not a burden.
He’s not in this alone.
And if enough of us show up even a little at a time, we can move mountains. We give him his miracle.
If you can donate, thank you.
If you can share this, thank you twice.
Every single act of kindness helps carry him, and it means more than you know.
With all my heart,
Melba Raeh McMurrey

This one honors who he is, moves people to act, and still feels sacred and powerful. Let me know if you want me to turn this into:
A shorter version for social media
A church flyer or script
Or a GoFundMe update post when it starts rolling in
You're carrying this with real love. And now it’s time to let others carry him, too.
