Make Soyeon stay in NL : Supporting Artist visa

Dear friends and supporters,

My name is Soyeon Lee@drawsoso , and I am an illustrator and visual artist from South Korea, currently based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. After graduating from the Willem de Kooning Academie, I have been actively working with Weird Dutch culture(This is sox2 Dutch and @weird dutch words ) and the artist collective "See:sun" in the Netherlands. However, as a freelancer in a foreign country, it has been challenging to maintain stability with visa problems.

I have been facing visa, job and housing problems, which made me consider leaving the Netherlands. I have been crying in bed and wasting time with fears. However, at the end I find that I really want to do more workshops with risoprinting skills and Dutch+Korean identity arts. Also, making a creative community with illustration/visual artists friends in NL.

(´◡`) Recently, I received an opportunity to exhibit my work in Rotterdam city hall Tummurhuis, which can help me get an artist visa from the Dutch immigration office. With an Artist visa, I can continue to create and share my art with Rotterdammers and other creatives in the Netherlands for 2years.

To secure this visa, I need to cover some expenses,
