Make Some Special People Happy

My daughter Natalie was diagnosed with Autism when she was 9. Since she was 19 she has been so fortunate to have found a great place to live with people like her, with amazing care staff and she is really happy there. Last year at the age of 31 she was diagnosed with breast cancer which she faced with amazing fortitude and cheer. The worst thing for her was to have to leave her home to live with Mum during her treatment. She had only just returned to her care home when Corona Virus hit and she had to be shielded. She didn't want to leave her home again so the staff have done an amazing job shielding her and helping her to enjoy what is a second period of lockdown having gone through chemotherapy, surgery and radiotherapy last year. I want to show my gratitude to the amazing people who care for my daughter and her wonderful housemates. They have provided me with a list of items that would help to make life better for them all including a summerhouse, hot tub, garden furniture and camping equipment. It is my goal to raise enough money to provide them with all the things on their list not only to improve the lives of these very special young adults and their fantastic carers but as a way of showing my unending gratitude. This time last year our family faced uncertainty and worry about Natalie's future, she battled cancer and came through it only to be locked in by the Corona Virus; again she has faced these challenging circumstances with bravery and positivity she is, as are her housemates and her carers, very special. Please, if you can donate a little something and perhaps pass this on to others who may find they too can donate a little I am sure we can manage to give them all the things on their wish list.
