Make Sian's Dream Come True

I'm fundraising on behalf of my best friend Sian, her husband Sam, and two children, Jack (5) and Niamh (1) to help them make memories to last a lifetime.

Sian has received a life-limiting prognosis of months and her dream is to create treasured memories with her family.

The ultimate dream is for a trip Disneyland Paris, depending on Sian's treatment and mobility. If this isn't possible, there are other experiences your donation could help this family to have together. For example, a stay in a Safari Lodge at West Midlands Safari Park, short break to Legoland Windsor, or similar.

However, this fundraising can also support the following unexpected costs;

-Sian's Story-

Sian's journey with battling cancer started when she was diagnosed with breast cancer while pregnant in August 2022. In her final trimester, she fought her way through chemotherapy. Sian then had to endure a mastectomy and caesarian section to bring her beautiful daughter Niamh into the world. Treatment continued throughout her recovery from surgery and the newborn days with an intense schedule of both chemo and radiotherapy.

In March 2023, Sian was given the all clear but still had a steep hill to climb to recover from 6 months of intensive treatment.

Just 6 short months later in September 2023, Sian had the news that no one wants to hear, her cancer had returned and spread to new places. These results changed Sian's prognosis and left her with a treatment plan of chemotherapy for the foreseeable future.

In January 2024, Sian's results showed that the chemotherapy hadn't had the expected outcome and the prognosis became life-limiting.
