Help Make Our Mom’s Home Safe for Her Recovery

We’re raising money to help our mom, Sherry Staudenheimer, make her home safe and accessible after a very difficult chapter in her life.

Sherry has been living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) for over 10 years. Through all the challenges, she’s faced it with strength and resilience. But recently, things took a serious turn. She was hospitalized and diagnosed with the beginning stages of sepsis. It was a frightening time for all of us. Thankfully, she’s now in a rehab facility working hard each day to recover, regain strength in her legs, and relearn how to walk.

As we prepare for her to return home, we’re realizing how urgently her living space needs to be adapted to support her recovery. Right now, it simply isn’t safe or accessible for someone with her needs. We’re hoping to make several important updates, including a wheelchair ramp, grab bars and support handles throughout the house, and safer flooring to prevent falls. Any extra funds will go toward medical needs, medications, or future surgeries she may require.

Our family is doing everything we can, but we need help to make these changes as soon as possible. We’re hoping to raise around $10,000 to make her home a place where she can continue to heal safely and comfortably.
