Hi there! We’re students from SAE University College working to complete our Bachelor of Film! Our Capstone Project is a short film all about the 90’s punk scene; Make or Break.

Writer and director Ashton Fouracre poses the question - when authenticity means living on a knife's edge, is selling it for security a betrayal? Based in Australia’s 90’s punk scene, Make or Break follows the heated debate between the members of Vociferous after they get approached with a record deal. Frontwoman Tatum wants to maintain the artistic integrity of the band while the lead guitarist, Owen, is tempted by the deal. Will this transition be the end of Vociferous as they know it? Could they even last that long to reach that point?

Ashton Fouracre is a music enthusiast, and understands that the values that made the punk scene what it was has been inherited by people like himself. An evergreen story, Make or Break realises that despite having the power to change the lives of people any and everywhere, artists are forced to make huge sacrifices to pursue their passions.
