Hi everyone,
My name is Amber. A few days ago my 9-year-old son, with our family, went into Petsmart for catfood... and something completely magical happened.
While we were there, my son instantly bonded with a green-cheeked conure. They were playing, he was able to in a simple flick of a finger, get the conure to roll over more than once! The moment went viral on TikTok (over 550k views already!) and so many of you have been cheering us on and suggesting we bring the sweet baby home.
We've wanted another animal companion intentionally, and this feels so much like fate. My son is incredibly excited, and as a family we're ready to welcome this new addition into our lives.
What we need help with:
- The cost of the Conure (~$800 at the store)
- A proper cage, perches, toys, lighting and initial supplies
- First Avian vet visit (and any recommended health testing)
