Make my dying wife's wish come true

Hi there,

My wife and best friend for 18 years has been battling breast cancer since 2020.This was a very curable form of cancer. She went through very nasty chemo and requested to have both breasts removed to lower the chances of it coming back. The doctor tells her after the double mastectomy and chemo she was cancer free and it may come back in 20 years but the chances of that was 5%. Six months later she broke out in a nasty rash around both breasts which she was told it was a reaction to the implants. Months went by and the rash got worse. She made an appointment, had a biopsy and it was the breast cancer had came back except this time it wasn't in her breast it was in her tissue. The doctors said they never seen anything like it. We tried a Google search and nothing came up. They treated her the same way as the first time because she responded so well with that treatment. She did great until she stopped. The rash was on her back and stomach. She was told she was HER2 positive on the front part of her body and triple negative on her back. Two types of breast cancer. 3 to 7 months. She's not scared. She is a true testament to inner strength. Every day she reminds me and our family what true courage is as she faces endless obstacles with few tears and always with a smile on her face. Unfortunately, this is a battle she will not win. As heartbreaking as this news is for all of us, Monica, in true Monica-form, has decided to make each day count with us, filled with love and adventure.

To repay her for all the dedicated years and countless examples of love and generosity of spirit that she has given us, I want to make her one dream come true. She’s always wanted to see the Northern lights in Alaska. To her, it is the one place where she would be closest to the sky, and I would love for nothing more than to make this happen for her.

Any contribution would bring us one step closer to making this a reality before we have to say goodbye to her forever.
