MAKE MUSIC with ALWM's UCB at NABBA 2019

On April 5th, 2019, A Little Wind Music's Upper Canada Brass (a 26-pc British style brass band) and Brit-10-ish (10pc ensemble) will returning to compete at the North American Brass Band Championships in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
After last year's first foray into this, the largest Brass Band competition in North America, we are working hard to be in top form for this year's Competition, and to proudly represent Canada (the only Band/Ensemble this year).
We've been busy with extra rehearsals, having a clinician work with us, in hopes to better contribute to this traditional form of amateur music making!
Our members are covering their own accommodations and travel costs, but there is assistance needed to offset the overall costs of $9000 CDN.
With the exchange rate this year, our Registration Fees are $2300 CDN! (The NABBA financial team had quite the head-shake when they found that out as it is only $1650 USD). Music for the competition, including both the Set Piece and our own choice coming from the UK was just under $900 CDN. Add to that rentals and insurances (another $5500 CDN) and other costs directly associated with this undertaking.
We estimated that we have almost 1000 bars of music to perform! Come and play a bar with us at NABBA19! $10/bar! Every little bit helps!
