Make Musgrave Great Again

Hello, I am Samantha Galbreath, I am thrilled to announce that I will be hosting Beautification Days at:

Daisye Musgrave Hulan Park, located at 425 Turner Street, Shelbyville, TN 37160.

This community-focused event aims to improve the appearance and cleanliness of our community complex through various activities, including cleaning, planting, and painting, in addition to addressing larger-scale needs such as bathroom renovations, netting, fencing, and more.

This complex will also serve as the new home fields for each middle school softball team (that chooses to utilize) within our county!

We aim to restore this complex to its former glory of over 20 years ago.✨

Purpose:

Beautification Days aim to enhance the environment by addressing issues like litter, overgrown areas, and neglected spaces.

Activities:

Cleanup: Picking up trash and debris.

Gardening: Planting flowers, shrubs, and trees.

Painting: Refreshing or repainting structures like benches, planters, and signposts.

Landscaping: Spreading mulch or improving the overall appearance of the area.

Participants:

Volunteers from the community, including residents, students, staff, and alumni.

Benefits:

Beautification projects can improve the quality of life for residents, foster community connections, and boost tourism or commerce.

*Field signage opportunities are available in exchange for sponsorships.
