Make Missie's Wheels Move!

Hi my name is Missie Mikulec, I was injured June 5th 2019... can't believe 4 years is coming up. I had a tumor removed from my spine and it left me paralyzed from the waist down.

I’ve put a lot of time in, and worked very hard, in physical therapy to be able to do the everyday things I took for granted before. Sometimes investing 5 hours a day, 3 days a week in therapy. It was worth it because I relearned to bath myself, use the restroom, transfer in and out of the car, and even started to walk.

After working so hard, I am now regressing and am losing my independence.

I've recently been diagnosed with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome which is causing, carpal tunnel, de quervain tenosynovitis, and repetitive cartilage tears in my wrists.

I can no longer break apart or lift my wheelchair into my car.

I am asking for help so I can buy a device that lifts my wheelchair and will place it in my car for me. This will also save wear and tear on my wrists AND allows me to continue to get to physical therapy.

As much as I don’t want to ask, I’m needing your help. Every bit adds up, and any amount is appreciated. This device will be life changing for me.
