HELP JL's Medical & Funeral Expense

We write to you today with heavy hearts and a plea for assistance for our beloved JL Ramirez. Just days ago, on April 2nd, 2024, JL was rushed to the Chinese Medical Center in the Philippines with a sudden and severe illness. He presented with a high fever that persisted, accompanied by alarming symptoms such as swelling and numbness in his arms, and an inability to communicate. Upon admission to the emergency room, doctors suspected an infection and administered vancomycin, an antibiotic. However, further tests and examinations revealed a devastating diagnosis: JL has contracted leptomeningitis, an inflammation of the brain's covering, which has progressed to sepsis, spreading the infection into his bloodstream. Compounding this already dire situation, JL's kidneys have been severely impacted by the illness and the medications, leading to dangerously high creatinine levels and resulting kidney damage requiring immediate dialysis. He’s now also intubated as he is unconscious and the medical team advised that this can assist him with his breathing.

As JL fights for his life in the ICU, his family is faced with a mounting financial burden. With medical bills projected to exceed 400,000+ pesos and additional procedures such as an MRI, dialysis, lumbar puncture and medications necessary for his treatment, the Ramirez family humbly asks for your support.
