Help Mermaid Sirena Swim to the Junior American Mermaid Olympics! ‍♀️✨

Hi everyone! My name is Saliceny Marie, also known as Mermaid Sirena, I am 12 years old and reside in Oregon! ‍♀️ Since I was 2 ½, I’ve been obsessed with mermaiding—so much so that my incredibly talented nana made me my very first tail! Ever since then...I've been "Hooked"...literally. I’ve been swimming through pools, rivers, lakes, and even the open ocean in Hawaii! ️

I’ve always dreamed of becoming a professional mermaid, and I’m well on my way! I’ve already earned my PADI Mermaid certification, which means I have the skills not only to perform as a mermaid but also to ensure safety and excellence in my aquatics adventures. I have had the incredible opportunity to perform at events and meet-and-greets and spread the magic of mermaid life wherever I go. In 2023, I proudly won the Sportsmanship Crown at the Yelm Mermaid Festival. But my mermaid journey doesn't stop there! Being a mermaid is not just about glimmering tails and magical performances; its about inspiring others to believe in themselves and chase their dreams, no matter how big or whimsical they may seem.

✨ Big News! ✨ I recently won the Photogenic Phase of the American Mermaid Olympics for the state of Oregon! (clearly all those underwater selfies paid off!) Now, I am beyond thrilled that I’ve been invited to compete in the Junior American Mermaid Olympics in Las Vegas in March 2025 to represent my beautiful state!

This is a dream come true, and I’m so excited to compete for Mermaid Greatness at the national level. However, I need your help to make this magical journey a reality. I’m raising funds to cover my airfare and lodging for this to ensure I make a big splash at this exciting event. ✈️
