Help Make Matt Plum's Home Accessible and Safe
Donation protected
Matthew (Matt) Plum, beloved husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend to all of us was diagnosed in 2021 with Inclusive Body Myocytes (IBM), a muscle degenerative disease that has no cure or treatment. The disease is taking its toll more rapidly than any of us imagined: a recent incident caused him to suffer seizures that will have kept him in the hospital for 21 days. Matt is participating in therapies that are helping him to be as independent as possible, but his home is not designed for anyone with his disabilities, and it must be retrofitted by moving walls and plumbing, enlarging doorways, and flattening thresholds as well as additional medical equipment to accommodate his needs.
Matt would never ask for help on his own so we're doing it for him.
If you know Matt and Caryn and would like to contribute to making his home accessible, any amount will be welcomed with sincere and heartfelt thanks from the entire Plum family
