Hi, my name is William McDonald. I've been working for my aunt, Mary Buonfiglio, as her medical aide for the past couple years over the weekends. One day we happened to be watching the QVC network (as she enjoys to do often just to browse) and we came across this scooter, the EV Rider. It's made for adults who have difficulty getting around. The thing that made it stand out to us however was its ability to fold itself at the push of a button for easy storage and transport; which would make it easy to take around wherever she goes as well as store easily in her apartment! My whole life that I've known Mary, she's been using crutches to get around as the result of a horrible car crash. As a result, she has had very limited freedom in regards to travel for virtually all of her adult life. She's expressed these feelings many times to me before, which is why I thought it'd be a great idea to surprise her with the scooter! With everyone's help, we can help give Mary back the freedom she's been craving for so long. She'll regain the ability to actually go out all on her own and reclaim her independence once again! I'm positive that if we can reach this goal, she'll be absolutely thrilled! If you're able to contribute anything towards the goal, please consider! I will forever be grateful and I'm sure she will be too!
