My name is RavenBella and I have the most beautiful step daughter in the whole world, Mari. She is 25, has Downsyndrome, is sweet as could be, and most of all LOVES MUSIC. Well she loves Lagoon, Harry Potter, dancing, coloring, swinging, sushi, working, painting, playing with pets and babies, playing piano, and so much more because her heart is so full of love and joy!

Anyone who knows Mari knows her love of all music. But especially ‘5 Seconds of Summer’. This is her absolute favorite band, she calls all of them her imaginary boyfriends. The cover photo is her performing ‘Amnesia’ by 5SOS at a ‘Celebration of Ability’ event Family Health Service/Delta Dental in Jerome hosts. She sings every year for these amazing folks.

Mari has a pretty severe speech impairment, and she can’t read. That’s why you’ll see, in the photo of her eating sushi, I wrote out 5 seconds of summer phonetically so she could sound it out and memorize how to say her favorite bands name!! She has never let any of her “disabilities” stop her from singing and living her life!! It’s beautiful how her love of music shines over every thing else. I could only upload a few photos but I have many videos of her playing her music as loud as possible, singing her heart out, playing guitar, piano, or dancing.

Well we just found out ‘Five Seconds of Sunmer’ are going on tour!!!! We are so so excited for Mari she will get to experience her favorite band live!!!

So of course our family was going to buy some regular seat tickets. But while we’re looking mari just kept pointing at the front of the stage.. when I’d show her a decently close seat she’d say “these seats are okay fine, but I LOVE front” There is absolutely no way her father and I could afford to get our family Pit tickets for this concert. I am here to ask for any donations for front row/Pit tickets for Mari. If anyone deserves this. It is her. A loving, hard working, resilient, smart, gentle young woman.
