So … I’ve never done this before and I’m very interested in possibility, and yet this feels edgy. I often go to my favourite place at the shrine above Arillas. After expressing my gratitudes for being alive in this incredible island light, I ask, in the immortal words of Dr Max from New Amsterdam “How can I Help?” I often hear some sense of guidance - last week it was ‘listen to people's suffering and show hope and possibility’. On New Year's Day, I heard the words “Ask for what you need.”

Last year the projects we paid attention to reaped rewards and many people came to stay and help. While it feels like excessive chutzpah to ask, as my inner critic thinks I should have this sorted by now, I do know that would have been almost impossible in my first year. So I’m curious about what spirit has in mind in giving me those words.

So a request .. if you feel you could support the project of making Mandala House even more stunning, your contribution or donation could range from buying a pot of paint, a plant or emptying the pooh tank or paying for nights in advance. It would colour our world and bedrooms beautiful, and be a spirit-led surprise. l love making a good agreement and we’ve got love and rooms to share in the sunshine. I'm hoping to bring some respected teachers to run special events, so we could do with new tarps or a roof and floor in the olive press. It's endless and immensely satisfying to see how we can bring the vision of what's next for the nexus point into being.

Yes, No and Maybe are all wonderful responses. I’m aware of the excess of kindnesses I’ve received and the many ways people have already supported me and this crazy Corfu vision. I want to use this enormous privilege wisely, collectively and creatively to create the transformation of Mandala House together. The doors are open for shared living, hope, beauty, creativity, love, art and connection. And being naked, on the beach. Join in. Arillas is lovely.
