Meet Maiad, my cousin! A vibrant soul fighting skin cancer with unwavering strength. At 38, she's a hard-working, devoted mother, cherished sister, loving wife, and a true friend. Residing in the Philippines, Maiad received a visit from her sister in New Zealand, yet chose not to disclose her battle, wanting to ensure a joyous time together.

Behind her smile lies a challenging journey. Diagnosed with melanoma, Maiad now faces grueling chemotherapy sessions. But she's not alone. We rally around this incredible woman, determined to ease her path.

Purpose of the Fundraiser:



Medical Support: Covering Maiad's chemo expenses and medical treatments. As expected, her out of pocket medical bills skyrocketed beyond her means which is about $3000 every 3 weeks. This is an enormous amount on top of her daily expenses.

Emotional Well-being: Offering psychological and emotional support to Maiad and her loved ones.

Awareness and Education: Spreading awareness about skin cancer and its prevention.

Logistical Assistance: Supporting in any way possible for her journey towards recovery.
