Sadly on Thursday one of our team Jacob was hit by a van whilst riding his bike and suffered serious head injuries. He had a depressed fracture to the scull as well as a bleed on the brain! He’s only 10 years old! He’s a big character and normally so full of life so seeing him like this has been heart breaking and has really hit all who know him very hard

Jacob received surgery at Birmingham Children’s hospital and is now in recovery.

He is very drowsy but in true Jacob style, his biggest concern was that his bike was broken

This page has been created to help raise money for a replacement bike, and for when he is feeling better a day out for him and his family, and also his friend who was with him, who if it wasn’t for his quick thinking, applying pressure to the bleed, may well have saved Jacob’s life ❤️

As a boxing club, we will be arranging a charity day to raise money to help. We’ve already had so many offers of donations for prizes from many local companies which we are really grateful for , and also many people have offered donations of money which is why the page has been created.
