My name is Cat & I'm fundraising for my besty Amelia Weaver.

At the start of the year Amelia was diagnosed with stage 3 bowel cancer. She has undergone surgery and is currently undergoing chemotherapy.

So far she has had a rollercoaster of ride, with more than her fair share of complications on the way. As ever, she is dealing with it head on & trying to keep a smile on her face aswell as those around her.

Amelia has worked in the NHS for 26 years and has been a doctor for 17 of those. She has helped countless people throughout her career both here through the Emergency Department and prehospitally in various roles (HEMs, care team, lowland search & rescue, ice hockey to name a few) & abroad for the International search & rescue team

Not only has she helped numerous patient's but she has the biggest heart and has been there for her friends, family & colleagues.

Amelia's NHS sick pay has come to an end & I would like to raise money to ease the financial pressure to support her rent, monthly bills & give her some money to enjoy life & make going through this awful time as easy and enjoyable as it can be.
