The Justice family—Kevin, Wendy Jo, and their four beloved boys (Robert, Leroy, Luke, and Jaic)—have a story rooted in love, resilience, and devotion. Kevin and Wendy Jo welcomed the boys into their home as foster children in 2022, and in April of this year, they officially adopted them, making their family whole.

To celebrate this milestone, the family had planned to take a dream vacation together—a cruise in the spring of 2026. It was something the boys had long wished for, a symbol of their new beginning as a forever family.

However, life has taken an unexpected and heartbreaking turn.

Sweet 7-year-old Leroy has recently been diagnosed with a rare and aggressive brain tumor known as Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG). The tumor is located on the pons, a critical area of the brain stem responsible for essential motor functions. Because of its location, the tumor is inoperable. Treatment options are limited, and radiation therapy is the only way to potentially slow its progression.

Leroy’s condition is already affecting his ability to walk and speak, and doctors have given a prognosis of 9–12 months.

Given this devastating news, the Justice family is shifting their plans. Instead of waiting until 2026, they are now working to make Leroy’s dream of a family cruise come true as soon as possible—while he still has the strength to enjoy it. More importantly, they want to make the most of every moment they have together, creating joyful memories and surrounding Leroy with love, laughter, and comfort.
