We often think about the future for our children—the hopes and goals we have for them, whether it's independence, a career, relationships, or simply happiness and health. As parents of a child with moderate to severe autism, we have embraced a beautiful vision of a future centered around happiness and well-being. I want to introduce you to my son, Kendall, who has taught us profound lessons about life and the significance of every moment. Autism is just part of who Kendall is; it does not define him, as he embodies so much more than a diagnosis. This year, he will graduate from high school. Unlike many kids his age, Kendall may not experience the thrill of driving a car, going to college, or pursuing a dream career. We've come to accept that his journey looks different.

Nevertheless, Kendall has consistently shown us what true joy and love mean. Since he was a young boy, his immense passion for the movie "Cars" has brought him that joy, allowing him to express himself through his favorite lines and build an impressive diecast car collection. This small hobby has meant the world to him. As a family, we've talked about how to celebrate his high school graduation and express our pride, and we realized that one of the greatest gifts we could offer him is the chance to make his dream come true. For as long as we can remember, Kendall has wanted to visit Disneyland in California, home to Cars Land. Anyone who knows him can attest to his excitement about wanting to experience the Lightning McQueen rides and staying at the Cozy Cone Motel.

Our family is eager to help fulfill this wish, and with your support, we would be thrilled to take Kendall on this Disneyland adventure together.
