Help & Support Joyce Wright to survive Stage 4 Cancer
Donation protected
Greetings to one and all, My name is Mark Frederick and I have created this gofundme in hopes of making whatever dreams my wonderful woman come true while we still have the time. Her name is Joyce Wright. Unfortunately, she has been stricken with the unfortunate disease of cancer. She has Stage 4 colon cancer that has already spread to and taken over her liver. It is trying to spread to her lungs & stomach. I didn't catch it fast enough because we didn't know. She had symptoms dating back almost 2 years but we didn't know because it wasn't something anyone thinks about and was easily brushed off as common problems. But now due to constant unbearable pains, so we got her checked out. That's when we found out. Now, it's a battle to save her life.
If there is only one wish, then I wish to be able to make at least one of her dreams come true before it's too late. Joyce is the love of my life. She is a Christian, a good person with a good heart, and she has never had any evil intentions. She's always been the sweetest to know & love, a people person, the type of person that just about anyone can get along with. She does not deserve a bad ending. I've given her all I have, but unfortunately, I can only give so much. So in hopes of reaching out to the community, Can we make her dream come true? Her main dream is to go to Dublin Ireland to meet and spend a few weeks with her best friend Susie. That's what I would like to make happen before she gets too sick and can't travel anymore.
MAJOR UPDATE
This gofundme was originally set up in hopes of making her dreams come true. Well, that's no longer the case. Now, Joyce is fighting a really hard battle just to live. The dreams have been cast aside because her cancer is unfortunately doing what cancer does best, it's killing her. Every day is a huge question mark. Some days she's ok, can get up and out and do a few things before feeling ill and having to come back home, other days.. well she is pretty much bedridden. With her being out of work and the lost of that income, all dept has fallen on me, her man. I'm doing what I can with everything I can, but it's very hard to keep up. Everything is stretched so thin now, our debt is piling up, my health isn't all that great anymore, my mother's isn't all that great anymore.. we're struggling every day to get by.
So this is all now a fight for survival. All of Joyce's immediate family are now deceased, the rest, like her aunt and cousins, well, they are showing a lot of love and support through her hard times. They're some of the best family anyone could wish for. We are very thankful for their love & support. Except for Sandy! Sandy, you can suck it!!
Her family church, which she and her family had been going to for decades, instead of helping her or showing some kind of compassion for her, even decided to turn their backs on her. Why? because she asked for help. They were reluctant even to have conversations with her let alone help her. They were angry at her because she couldn't contribute anymore, and were more angry when she asked for help. I know, because I was with her that day. I couldn't believe what I was seeing & hearing. If you're wondering where I'm talking about, it's this place—Eastside Christian church in Las Vegas. Just off of warm springs.
I would have thought her father, James Wright, being a veteran, a loving and devoted father & husband, would mean something, especially in that church. But I was wrong.
So, all we can do now is hope and pray for Joyce's recovery. We ask for the community's help. Please help me save my woman's life, please help us survive another day. I'm doing all I can, any extra help would be greatly appreciated.
