Meet Johney, our 6-year-old Cavachon. Johney is the best friend everyone needs in their life. No matter how you're feeling or what you're going through, he will surely bring a smile to your face. Unfortunately, our beloved baby has been diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma, an aggressive oral cancer. Due to the location of the tumor, doctors say they would be unable to remove it with clean margins. Doctors have decided that the best choice to help Johney would be to use radiation to shrink the size of the cancerous tumor, which can reduce his pain and discomfort and improve the quality of his life. Unfortunately, with cancer in dogs and specifically squamous cell carcinoma, there is no definite cure and no way to stop the cancer from spreading entirely, and due to its aggressive nature, dogs with cancer typically live a few months. Johney has been the greatest being to walk into our lives, and giving him the best life has always mattered most to us. Johney deserves the world and more, and we hope that for his time left with us, we can make him the happiest boy. We are doing everything in our power to reach our goal of $10k, which is the cost for his radiation treatment.
