make Jake’s dream come true

As most of you now know, 4 days before Harry’s first birthday last year, we were told Jake (24 at the time & fighting fit) had stage 4 Hodgkins Lymphoma - Cancer of the blood.
Jake has battled his way through, now a full year of chemotherapy. He has worked throughout his treatment, only taking days off for treatment & a short recovery and more importantly has continued to be an amazing Dad.
Jake is currently in hospital for 4-5 weeks, an hour away from home undergoing a week of invasive chemotherapy followed by a transplant in which his body will be “born again” & starting from scratch with his immune system.
We’re hoping this will be the end of this awful ordeal and we can start making more memories as a family & not having to worry about chemo, PET scans or being poorly.
Whilst Jake is in hospital, we wanted to surprise him and having posted a status on Facebook asking people what I could do - the answer from all those who commented was to start a “Go Fund Me” so here we are!
Jake has ALWAYS dreamt (banged on) about air ride for his car (his baby - everyone who knows Jake will know he loves this car more than anything).. so I’m hoping to raise the funds for one before he gets out of hospital in a few weeks!
This is meant to be a surprise & luckily he rarely checks Facebook - but if you do share it you could hide the post from him.. although I’m sure he’ll find out sooner or later but it’s worth a try!
