As some of you are aware Joyce Gulliver has lost her home and everything she owned. Baby books, old pictures of her mother and father from 1930, everything she cherishes, minus her kids and grandkids.
I think I can speak for everyone and anyone who has ever had the blessing to meet Joyce Gulliver when I say she is the most generous, positive and uplifting person you'll ever meet.
Joyce Gulliver has helped many people throughout her life: Over time whenever any of her family or friends would bring up Joyce's name in a circle of people, you can bet a story is to follow with how Joyce had touched that person's life in a positive way.
From giving people a second shot at life by hiring them when no else would, or writing a good reference for someone, she is always willing to help someone advance their life. Her faculties in reading people is incredible. She never judged people based on their outward appearances, and was able to tell if they had a good heart or (work ethic).
To many she is their rock. She has been the most positive and consistent thing in all 17 of her kids, grandkids and great grandkids lives for as long as we have all been alive.
Joyce Gulliver is the epitome of selflessness. It's rare to even meet someone like Joyce, it's even more rare to have her as your mother. I promise I don't get jealous when half the town calls my mother their mom or grandma or "G". It just speaks to the type of person she is.
