Climbing Kilimanjaro for Farmor's School
We want to help our school take a significant step towards being carbon neutral for the benefit of our students' futures and the planet they will inherit.
We would also like to be warm again! Our ancient boilers - affectionately known as Jack and Jill - are sadly beyond repair. Our government bids to replace our heating system have all been rejected. We think our students deserve to be educated in heated buildings.
To help us achieve these goals, Matthew Evans (Headteacher) and Roger Eckersley (Assistant Headteacher) will climb Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa, in the summer of 2024.
Please help us achieve our goals. Every pound you give will be invested in renewable energy for Farmor's School. Ideally, the funds raised will go towards replacing our heating system, but should this be achievable in another way, we’ll put the funds towards making our energy use cleaner.
