Make every breath count for Ann

My mother Ann desperately needs your help.

Mom was diagnosed with Pulmonary Fibrosis in 2019. She was devastated when given this news at the age of 60 years old, especially because her own mother passed away from the same disease in 2007. Pulmonary Fibrosis is a rare lung disease that is progressive and fatal. The life expectancy without transplant is only 3-5 years.

The disease has progressed significantly, and has come to a critical point. She is now completely dependent on oxygen and gets short of breath very easily, making it extremely difficult to complete activities of daily living. My mom's only hope to survive is a double lung transplant. We're asking family and friends to join us in fundraising to help with expenses mom will face before, during and after this intense surgery. After many years of being the main source of income for her family, mom has been unable to work.

My mother has always been the backbone of this family. If you have ever met her, you know she is like no other. She's a very special person, mother, wife, sister, aunt and friend. Her strength, persistence, unconditional love and above all selflessness is beyond admirable. Despite her diagnosis and limitations, she has kept her strong and positive outlook. She has been through hell and back in her life as some of you know, but has never given up and has so much more meaningful life to live. Our lives would be unimaginable without her.

The emotional and financial burden that has now and will continue to affect our family is overwhelming. For someone who has always been known to give so much of herself to others, we ask now for your prayers, and any form of support that you can give. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts.
