The Make A Dream Come True Foundation has finally come to fruition. This is an opportunity for everyone to help my sisters and I make a difference in the world. We would appreciate your participation in our outreach program as we grow from a baby to a building. We are aiming to raise $200,000 to build a community center dedicated towards empowerment and professional development for women! Majority of these women are not given the opportunity or resources for a beneficial education.
As first generation Nigerian Americans, we have made it a personal mission to make a positive change in our father's native city of Owerri, Nigeria. In April of 2002, our beloved brother was brutally murdered. He was a very humble, God-fearing man with a heart of gold and always did the most he could to give back to the less fortunate. His name is Amaraegbulem which means "Don't let my kindness kill me", but this is exactly how he died, saving his friend's life. Since his passing we have continued his legacy by doing charity work and feeding the homeless on our own dime. Which is why this project will be named after him. Now it is time to make an even bigger difference. So help us to make his dream come true!
This building will provide housing, clothing, education, and guidance towards a better future for women. We will supply financial support and trade skills needed to build a professional career. My junior sister, Madarocka Chi, is currently in Nigeria beginning the project and I will be meeting her in March to continue molding the foundation.
We will be in need of donations of toiletries, supplies, and sanitary kits for thousands of women. You can be a part of this phenomenal program and make a positive influence in the Nigerian community. If you would like to be personally involved please reach out to me (@madame_milan). Each and every donation will be appreciated. A little bit goes a long way and we thank you in advance. So join us and "Make a Dream Come True".
